Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, Treaty 6 – The Community Development Department is launching a new Volunteer Recognition Initiative to celebrate members who generously contribute their time and talents to strengthening the community.

Throughout the year, volunteers assist with cultural events, youth activities, sporting events, community gatherings, and numerous other initiatives that benefit members of all ages.

The new initiative will recognize outstanding volunteer contributions through seasonal acknowledgements and an annual appreciation event.

Community members are encouraged to nominate individuals who consistently demonstrate leadership, kindness, and dedication through volunteer service.

The Community Development Department extends its sincere appreciation to every volunteer whose commitment helps build a stronger and more connected community.

Nomination forms will be available online and at the Administration Office.
