Our Purpose
The Emergency Management department helps keep BOCN community members safe before, during, and after emergencies or disasters. Responsibilities may vary depending on the situation, but the department plays a key role in emergency planning, preparedness, communication, response coordination, and recovery support.
In an emergency notify 911 first and then notify BOCN Emergency Management only when it is safe to do so.

Shelter & evacuation
Support for evacuation efforts and Red Cross shelter management when needed.
