As Team Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation (TBOCN) prepares for the upcoming competition, parents and guardians are asked to review the following important information:
Athlete Village Location
The TBOCN Athlete Village is located at Jackfish Lake, Battlefords Provincial Park Campgrounds, Clearview Group Camp (see attached map).
Parent & Guardian Information
Parents are welcome to set up a tent or trailer at the campsite. If bringing a camper trailer, please call ahead as space is limited. There are no power hookups available, so generators must be supplied by campers.
Parents transporting athletes to or from games are responsible for any associated costs and must ensure athletes arrive at venues at the times communicated by coaches.
Parents and guardians must remain in designated spectator areas during competitions.
Please respect coaches and TBOCN Mission Staff during the Games.
Respect all athletes, teams, staff, and volunteers. Remember that you are representing Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation.
Athletes will receive breakfast and lunch at food venues. Supper and snacks will be provided daily at the TBOCN camp.
Please ensure your child has all required medications, including prescriptions and allergy-related medications.
First Aid services will be available at the campsite and at all sports venues.
Security personnel will be on-site 24 hours a day at the campsite.
Please ensure athletes pack extra clothing in case of sudden weather changes.
