Role Summary

The successful candidate will support archival and community research initiatives through accurate data entry, records management, reporting, and administrative support. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working collaboratively with community members, Elders, staff, and partner organizations.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in data entry, community research, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with electronic records management systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Knowledge of First Nation culture, traditions, and community values.
  • Ability to work with diverse staff in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
  • Must be able to provide a CPIC.

Compensation is determined according to education and experience.
