The successful caterer will be responsible for preparing and cooking the meal, purchasing all required food and beverage supplies, providing necessary cooking equipment and utensils, ensuring compliance with food safety and public health standards, managing service staff, serving food in a timely and respectful manner, and cleaning up after the meal.

Applicants should demonstrate experience catering for large groups and Cree community events, the ability to accommodate diverse dietary and health needs, knowledge of safe food handling practices, and cultural awareness of the significance of Orange Shirt Day. Proposals must include the caterer’s name, a proposed menu, a complete cost estimate, a food safety and hygiene plan, and contact information.
