Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, Treaty 6 – As winter approaches, the Community Development Department is coordinating a Winter Clothing Drive to help ensure families have access to warm clothing during the colder months.

Donations of new or gently used winter jackets, boots, mittens, scarves, snow pants, and children’s winter clothing will be accepted throughout the campaign.

Community members, businesses, and partner organizations are encouraged to support the initiative by donating winter apparel or volunteering to assist with sorting and distribution.

Collected items will be distributed to families in need prior to the arrival of the winter season.

The Community Development Department thanks everyone who continues to demonstrate generosity and compassion in supporting fellow community members throughout the year.

Donation locations and collection dates will be announced through the Nation’s communication channels.
